Tariq Khan, Solicitor
Tariq qualified as a Solicitor in 1999. He is a qualified Duty Solicitor and regularly represents clients in the Magistrates Court & Youth Court.
As well attending court, Tariq also represents clients at the police station and prepares Crown Court cases in a wide range of offences including serious offences of Murder, Sexual Offences, Supply of Drugs, Serious Violent offences including Football related offences.
Tariq has been instructed in complex cases involving defendants with mental health issues. His most notable recent case which dealt with such issues was Regina v Junaid Abuhamza & Another (Birmingham Crown Court) (starvation of a child).
