The Circumstances | Kangs Account Freezing Order Solicitors

  • Our client was served with an Application for an Account Freezing Order in respect of a bank account holding funds that were considered to be ‘suspicious’ and suspected to be either ‘Recoverable Property’ or ‘Intended for use by a Person in Unlawful Conduct’, being statutory definitions relevant to the appropriate authorities when identifying assets which they believe ought to be seized.
  • The suspicion was fuelled by the level of high value transactions conducted through a World Pay facility.            
  • Our client had previously initiated parallel civil proceedings in respect of these funds.
