Who Do We Advise?

We assist parents and family members make the right arrangements for child(ren) following separation in the event of disagreements concerning upbringing, education and welfare.

What Are Child Arrangement Orders?

Child Arrangement Orders, which have replaced Child Contact, Child Custody Orders and Residence Orders, are legally binding agreements, setting out:

  • where a child should live (residence),
  • who they spend time with (contact), and
  • who the child is allowed to see during the contact (access).

The Welfare of Children is Paramount

In cases involving child(ren), court action should be the last resort and the welfare of the child(ren) will remain the paramount consideration.

We treat the welfare of child(ren) as the most important issue and our aim is to help make the appropriate arrangements with the minimum distress.

Where possible we aim to help families reach agreement without the need to resort to court proceedings.
