Louis Moult | Motherwell

Louis Moult rescued a point for Scottish Premier League side Motherwell by scoring a 67th minute equaliser to share the spoils in the away game at Ross County.

Louis converted his penalty kick after coming on as a 60th minute substitute and enabled The Well to secure 5 points from their opening 5 games.

It was a great start to the striker’s return from injury and he is hoping to repeat the highs of last season when he finished top scorer for the club.

Ryan Boot | Port Vale | Worcester City

Young Port Vale goalkeeper Ryan Boot completed his first game at Worcester City on loan by keeping a clean sheet in their 3-0 win over Bradford Park Avenue.

Ryan was singled out for special praise by Worcester manager Carl Heeley as he said:

“I thought Ryan Boot looked assured and has come in and dealt with crosses.

I think he just gave us that little bit of confidence that he was going to come and deal with things and he was making consistent decisions which always helps.”

Nathan Smith | Port Vale

Fellow Port Vale player Nathan Smith was in amongst the action yet again as he won a last minute penalty for his side in their away fixture at Peterborough.

The young centre half was adjudged to have been fouled as he attempted to tap home the equaliser with what would have been the last kick of the game.

With the resulting spot kick scored , Port Vale rescued a point in their 2-2 draw with The Posh.
