Another Captain’s Performance | Kangs Sports Law Solicitors

Kangs Sports client John Brayford captained his Burton Albion side to an impressive win against Championship rivals Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Brewers took the lead at the Pirelli Stadium from a Cauley Woodrow free-kick in the 26th minute.

John Brayford made a crucial last ditch tackle in the second half to deny Nottingham Forest’s substitute Matty Cash as he was clear through on the Burton goalkeeper.

Playing in his 24th league game of the season, captain John Brayford led Burton Albion to their first ever competitive win against the former European Cup winners Nottingham Forest.

John Brayford, who has been the subject of a number of multi-million pound transfers during his time at Derby County, Cardiff City and Sheffield United is enjoying a great spell with Burton Albion and is determined to make Burton Albion’s first ever season in the Championship a resounding success.

As recognition for his wonderful display against Nottingham Forest, John Brayford was named in the Sky Bet English Football League Team of the Week.
