First Goal in League One | Nathan Smith | Port Vale FC

Share

Kangs Sports client Nathan Smith scored his first Port Vale goal as the Valiants secured a third successive league clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over Rochdale FC.

Nathan rose highest to head the winner from a corner in the first half which subsequently moved the Valiants up to 4th in the league and left the manager purring about Smith's potential.

Port Vale boss Bruno Ribiero told the media that he believes Premier League and Championship clubs will certainly be eyeing the Madeley born youngster, and he would be surprised if he remained at Port Vale beyond the end of the 2016/2017 season.

It was Nathan's 4th successive start in the season which has seen the Staffordshire club concede only 2 goals in 360 minutes of league and cup football.
