Not Guilty Verdicts after a 12-day Crown Court Trial

Share

Kangs represented two of four defendants in this case where the complainant alleged a series of serious sexual offences had taken place and that she had been falsely imprisoned by the defendants.

A complicating feature was that the defendants could not read, write or speak English and therefore all instructions had to be taken with the assistance of certified Romanian interpreters.

After a 12-day trial at Birmingham Crown Court the jury unanimously acquitted the defendants of all charges.

The case was conducted by Cagin Husnu of Kangs Solicitors
