Client Delighted Following Withdrawal of False Allegations of Sexual Misconduct

Client Delighted Following Withdrawal of False Allegations of Sexual Misconduct
Share

False allegations of sexual misconduct can have a serious and lasting impact for the person accused and their family, often placing considerable strain on personal relationships. They may also result in reputational damage, affecting relationships with colleagues, employment prospects and business opportunities.

Matters of this nature require a careful, sensitive and considered approach. A solicitor specialising in false allegations can provide clear advice tailored to your circumstances and take proactive steps to build a robust defence to the accusations.

By adopting this approach, the team at KANGS has successfully assisted a completely innocent client secure the withdrawal of wholly unfounded allegations of sexual activity with a minor.

Helen Holder of KANGS explains how this highly successful outcome was achieved.

Background

In December 2025, our client voluntarily attended Leicester Police Station to discuss allegations that had been made against him of sexual communication with a child and sexual assault of a minor said to have occurred on two dates in March 2025.

The complainant alleged that our client had picked her up from outside her school in a white Porsche motor vehicle, whereafter he sexually assaulted her.

Following the Voluntary Interview our client was formally arrested and placed on conditional bail. Recognising the need for highly experienced legal advice and guidance, our client then instructed KANGS.

How We Assisted Our Client

In order to defend the allegations made, our solicitors:

  • collated and thoroughly examined all relevant documentation,
  • met with our client to discuss all pertinent personal details and crucial evidence, including any contact he may have had with the complainant, and his whereabouts and activities on the two dates when the alleged criminal conduct occurred,
  • advised our client upon his position and the action to be taken to oppose the allegations,
  • obtained witness evidence confirming our client was of good character and demonstrated that he suffered significant personal, emotional, and financial harm as a result of the false allegations.

Pre-Charge Representations

Once all of the pertinent evidence had been gathered and examined, Written Pre-charge Representations were meticulously drafted by our team and a supporting Exhibit Bundle was compiled.

These documents provided overwhelming evidence that:

  • our client did not own or access the Snapchat account which formed part of the complainant’s allegations,
  • the complainant had deliberately concealed her true identity and misrepresented her age,
  • our client had neither been to Leicester nor owned or had access to a white Porsche motor vehicle,
  • the alleged physical meetings did not take place on the two days in March 2025, as conclusive evidence from a number of witnesses showed that our client was many miles from Leicester and could not possibly have sexually assaulted her,
  • CCTV footage that was produced did not resemble our client.

The Highly Successful Outcome

Within two days of receiving the Written Pre-Charge Representations and Exhibit Bundle, the Police Officer in Charge of the case confirmed that our client’s representations were accepted in full, the case would be closed and ‘No Further Action’ would be taken in respect of these false allegations.

Naturally, our client was delighted and stated:

I am deeply grateful for their expertise and support during one of the most difficult periods of my life. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone facing serious allegations who requires strong, proactive legal representation.”
